1. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained during subscription
- Expired subscriptions: Data retained 12 months
- Audit logs: Retained for life of account + 7 years
- Transaction records: 7 years (legal compliance)
2. Account Deletion
To delete your account:
- Email info@getzoptic.com from your registered email
- Confirm you want permanent deletion
After deletion:
- Profile removed within 24-48 hours
- Full data purge within 30 days
- Transaction records and audit logs retained for legal compliance
3. Inactive Accounts
Definition of Inactive: An account is considered inactive if there has been no login activity, profile updates, or subscription activity for 24 consecutive months (2 years).
Accounts inactive for 2+ years may be flagged for review. We will notify you before taking any account termination or suspension action. You will have 60 days to log in or respond to our notification to keep your account active.
4. Minor Users
Parents/guardians may request deletion of minor's account by contacting info@getzoptic.com with verification.
